Inspired by the world’s oldest known knotted rug, this Pazyrk-style piece pays homage to the rich heritage of nomadic craftsmanship. Hand-knotted with precision and passion, it features symbolic geometric patterns and natural hues reminiscent of the ancient Altai traditions. Each rug is a celebration of endurance, beauty, and cultural legacy — brought to life through thousands of fine knots and authentic Anatolian techniques.
This piece contains approximately 400.000 double knots, ensuring long-lasting beauty and artistic value.
Living Room: 8×10′ / 9×12′ anchors sofa + chairs; front legs on the rug.
Dining: Allow 24″/60 cm beyond the table on all sides for chair movement.
Bedroom: 8×10′ (queen) or 9×12′ (king); or use runners on both sides.
Hallways: Runners should show ~4–6″ (10–15 cm) of floor on each side.
Tip: Pazyrık earthy reds and camel tones pair beautifully with raw woods, stone or leather accents, and matte black hardware.

Pattern & Composition
Ancient field repeats framed by narrative borders (deer, horsemen) and compact geometry. A graphic, museum-echoing layout that reads timeless and storied in contemporary settings.
Hand-Knotted
Fully hand-knotted using traditional techniques. Measured at 35–40 knots per 10 cm (linear)→ approx 120,000–160,000 knots/m². Higher density means crisper motif edges, better pattern legibility, and long-lasting durability.
Natural Dye Palette
Colored with plant-based dyes(e.g., madder root, indigo, walnut husk). Natural pigments yield rich yet understated tones that develop a refined patina over time—aging more beautifully than synthetics.
Borders & Finishing
Grand borders frame the field and reinforce the visual rhythm; edges and fringes are hand-finished for authenticity and durability—subtle details that elevate the overall craftsmanship.
